Vegan Chocolate Ganache

Thanks to one of our fav duos: cacao + coconut, vegan chocolate ganache IS a thing.

Chocolate ganache is frequently used for glazing a cake, drizzling on ice cream, adding an irresistible frosting to brownies, or, our personal fav... eating straight off the spoon. YUM.

𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
🍫100g Soma Cacao (Karkar Island is ideal!)
🍫2 tablespoons coconut oil
🍫100g cacao powder
🍫1/2 can organic coconut milk
🍫1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
🍫3 tablespoons maple syrup (or more if you have a sweet tooth)

𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱:
1. Place Soma Cacao in a medium sized bowl.
2. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, heat the coconut milk until bubbles just begin to appear around the edges and steam rises from the surface.
3. Pour coconut milk over the Soma Cacao, and let stand without stirring for 5 minutes.
4. Whisk the cacao-coconut milk mixture until glossy and smooth (this will take about 2 minutes of gentle stirring).
5. Stir in the cacao powder, vanilla essence and maple syrup.
