It is a bit stronger than Karkar Island cacao but is still nice to drink
I love the rich chocolate flavour of this cacao. I don't add any sugar or other sweetener as it doesn't need it, keeping it nice and healthy.

My friend recommended it to me and I jave not even wanted to try anything else. It is creamy and tasty.
I have tried so many different brands of cacao and for some reason I keep coming back to this one. I first bought the sample pack from Soma and out of the whole selection I liked this one best. The taste is chocolaty without being overly bitter like some other brands and when mixed with milk actually fully dissolves. I have tried others which have had so much residue at the bottom that 1/4 of what I made was unable to be consumed. But Daintree not only taste good there is least residue left on the bottom of my cup than other brands I have tried.
I started on the Daintree and am Currently drinking the Peruvian and really enjoying every sip . I love it unsweetened !
I love the character of the various origins and within batches of origins. The small bag of Solomon Islands I had initially was dark and smoky and indulgent. This batch has more fruity/tart notes that are more similar to Mexican. I haven't quite figured out a good recipe this time around yet, but I feel I'm getting close with attempt #8. 🤣
Drinking this cacao is like drinking a soothing warm hug. It's dreamy and calming. It has a rich smokey flavour. Soma is an excellent company to deal with and I admire their stance on sourcing cacao ethically. Highly recommended.😊👍
This spoon is perfect for measuring the perfect amount of cacao. I have two, and each one is subtly different, smooth, rich in colour and adds another beautiful layer to my morning ritual.

But all of the Somacacao taste different from each other. My favourite is the Mexican and looking forward to having it back in stock. I have some organic Cacao Powder from my life before Somacacao and something made me try it again recently... won't be doing that again.... I'd rather go without.
We love our Soma Cacao everyday. It's now been 6 months since we made the switch from coffee. We will never go back. Our favorite is the Daintree and second is the Papua New Guinea one. Thank you 😊
I’ve been enjoying this every day for the last month - it can be a bit hard to blend/melt with milk without the blending wand, but I actually prefer having the chunky solid cocoa bits in hot milk

I use Lucuma powder with cocoa so I don't need to use honey. It's sweet enough for me. Will be buying it again.
We really enjoyed the ceremonial cacao. Far superior to supermarket cacao.

My alltime Favourite is still Soma Mexican Cacao especially as I drink my Cacao only with a pinch of Chili, a pinch of Salt and Water as a real Ceremonial Cacao. Daintree Cacao has a beautiful fruity Cacao/Chocolat Aroma but it is less full and strong than the Mexican which makes it ideal for everything with Milk (Cow, Almond, Soja & Co.) but for my Purpose as I drink Cacao only without Milk it is not full and strong enough. Still an amazing Cacao for everyone who drinks their Ceremonial Cacao with Milk or finds the others too strong (for this still 5 Stars as my Taste is not the Cacaco's fault, but if you want a strong Ceremonial Cacao with Water only go for the Mexican or Peruvian.

I love this homegrown cacao, it is rich, smooth and chocolatey. A very comforting warm drink, also lovely on ice in the hot weather. And, as with all Soma cacao that I have tried (all of them!), it puts me in a a nicely energised state, and enhances mood nicely. I love it and will get it again for sure
